# Audit Log

Learn how to find changes made to components, references, and field types by specific users across workspaces, revert changes when needed.

The Audit Log is a record of changes made to fields, references, components, types, and workspaces within Ardoq. It keeps a record of who made the change and the interface they used to make the change.

The Audit Log currently stores changes for the last 30 days.

You can find the Audit Log by clicking your organization's name in the top-left and selecting **Audit log**.

## Reverting Changes

The Audit Log can be used to revert deletions and updates made to component and references. To revert a change, expand the entry and click **Restore**.

If you trying to revert multiple changes sequentially, you will have to revert them in order one at a time. At this moment, the Audit Log does not automatically return to a specific chosen state with multiple changes reverted automatically.

## Limitations

The Audit Log focuses on components, references, and fields. Ardoq assets such as reports, surveys, viewpoints, and dashboard are not logged in the Audit Log and cannot be reverted if changed or deleted.

The Audit Log is not designed for recovering from significant data loss. If you need to restore a snapshot of your data from an earlier point, contact Customer Support for help.
